8 weeks, 150+ classroom hours, 16 health professional tours/seminars and 42 new friendships later, the 2013 Science Enrichment Preparation Program scholars received their diplomas, packed up their belongings, and headed home. These S.E.P. scholars left with new exposure to a wide variety of health professions, shadowing experience and an arsenal of study tools to tackle key health professional prerequisite courses. These students will aim to apply this experience and gain a competitive edge in the increasingly difficult health professional application process.
