SEP Program hiring faculty and program assistants.

We are currently hiring faculty to teach organic chemistry and quantitative skills/biostatistics and program assistants to assist faculty in human physiology, organic chemistry, physics and quantitative skills/biostatistics for the 2009 SEP Program to be held May 15 - July 9. SEP faculty and PA's wil receive a competitive salary for the 8-week program.

Duties for faculty members: conduct class six hours and hold office hours each week and attend specified program activities. Qualifications for these positions include: master's degree (terminal degree preferred) and teaching experience at a community college or 4-year institution.

Program assistants will complete work as assigned by faculty and SEP administrators, attend program classes and activities and assist in the SEP office. Applicants should be currently enrolled in graduate or professional school with a demonstrated proficiency in one of the four subjects taught.

Faculty and program assistants should also have experience working with diverse populations.
