The NC-ARC Initiative in the Allied Health Sciences prepares students for successful matriculation in allied health degree programs.

Students participate in five teleconference broadcasts of the “Introduction to the Health Professions” course, which is taught by a faculty member at the student’s home campus. UNC staff and faculty provide information about application and admission processes, academic requirements and professional opportunities in the allied health sciences.

NC-ARC participants also become part of a sustained mentoring network comprised of practicing allied health professionals, DAHS faculty and administrators, and administrators from NC-HCAP’s partner universities.
