NC-HCAP has established a health careers club for students with a common interest in health care. The club was formed to promote awareness and interest in all areas of the health professions; to engage in campus and community service projects; and to assist members in becoming competitive applicants for graduate/health professional programs.

It was officially established as a UNC student organization the fall of 2008. 

The health careers club is open to all undergraduate students at UNC and currently has more than 90 dues-paying members.
